First of all I am the mother of 4 beautiful children, Kathy age 23, Nick 20, Jessica 19, and Erica age 15. I am also blessed with 2 grandchildren, Cameron age 16 months and Karmen age 3 1/2 months. I have another grandson on the way May 2012. I am married to an awesome guy and we have been together 11 years. I currently work in a hospital as a director of a couple nursing units. I love my job, have a great staff and a great boss. I am blessed indeed! I have my Bachelors Degree in Nursing and my Masters in Health Care Administration. I love being a nurse and often times I miss working at the bedside. I graduated from high school in 1983, went straight to college at Bowling Green State University on a 4 year academic scholarship. I always thought it would be cool to be part of the arm services so I participated in ROTC in college and graduated as an officer in 1987. After school, off I went to the US Army in the Army Nurse Corps. Hoorah!!! I LOVED being in the army and learned a ton. I think I would have stayed in, however, chronic pregnancy and baby after baby made it difficult to move from place to place with 3 little rugrats. I did a little over 4 years active duty and then reserves until 1996.Most people would probably describe me as frank, candid, and honest almost to the point of harshness. I see myself as direct, open-minded, ambitious, and perhaps a bit bossy at times. I am fiercely independent and I like to be in control. I like managing anything practical. I am also disciplined when I need to be, especially if I am in a competition. I am not an overly emotional person and I guess I must admit I am all business most of the time. I hate details, love bullet points, and I like to fly by the seat of my pants. I thrive on change and challenge. This gets on alot of people nerves at time :). The thing that I love most is teaching and I think I am good at it.
I am spiritual and I get into the metaphysical a stuff that many people view as weird. I believe that we are connected to everything. The big picture is what counts most to me.
My biggest pet peeve is gossip. I can care less what this person or that person is doing. I HATE DRAMA and have little tolorance or understanding when it comes to it. I hate to babysit adults!! Take your drama to your mama is my motto. Oh yeah...people needing alot of attention or praise get on my nerves too. I don't appreciate displays of emotion. I like things calm and impersonal.
I am a bit preoccupied and critical with my appearance.....not others. I am my own worse critic and I am never satisfied with my appearance.
Oh yeah... one more thing about me....I hate the status quo!!!
My hobbies include:

- Jigsaw puzzles...huge ones
- Playing on my iPad
